If
you have a young family and want to keep them protected, security
doors and windows are an important addition to a home. They allow you
to be fully protected even while windows and doors are left open to
cool down the house, which is perfect when the weather is not yet
warm enough to turn the air conditioning on.
Security
Windows
Most
homes are now made with large sections of windows that can be a
security risk if someone wishes to break in. Large window panes can
be easy to break and climb through. By using security screens
on windows, you can stop intruders even if windows are open.
They can be installed on a wide array of window types, including
fixed windows that do not open, sliding windows, double hung, servery
and awning windows. The meshes are made specifically so that they are
difficult to cut and should be able to resist knife slashes. Forces
needed to pull the protection off are beyond the ability of one or
two people.
Security
Doors
Security
doors can come in two different styles, either made from marine grade
stainless steel or a powder-coated aluminium in the colour of your
choice. You can add a pet door and have either a single or triple
lock. If you choose to have sliding doors, you can also upgrade the
track on which it slides to make it stronger and more resistant to
damage. The doors feature the same strong mesh as the windows that
cannot be cut by knives and can help keep your family secure all year
round.
Colours
Both
security doors and window screens can be painted to suit the décor
and colour of your home; however, stainless steel does not need to be
decorated. Window
security screens, as well as aluminium doors, are
available in a powder-coated finish of the colour of your choice.
Stainless steel doors are naturally resistant to the effects of the
weather and do not need to be painted.
